    • Defines the strategy, and implements Configuration, and Environment Management processes as they relate to Software and Hardware. Establishes and enforces governance criteria around associated processes and procedures.
      • Establishes and maintains the CM processes and procedures.
      • Defines and implements procedures for releasing products throughout the whole product life cycle.
      • Serves on the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
      • Serves as an advocate for best practices.
      • Performs software deficiency and change request updates and reporting.
    • Identifies and assists in the development of processes within Development and Services teams to increase productivity/efficiency.
      • Produces builds of products for use in testing and in production; identifies and implements processes to strengthen, streamline, and automate build processes.
      • Drives the development and maintenance of build automation tools.
      • Maintains the source code change control.
      • Maintains the project notebook library and software development folders.
      • Tracks and maintains the project change requests, impact assessments, incident reports, and software change notices on a continuous basis.
      • Measures and reports on success metrics benchmarking performance against world class measures.
    • Participates in/facilitates software and hardware change and release planning activities that cross multiple Development and Service teams and other individuals/disciplines, as appropriate.
    • Facilitates the coordination, scheduling, and movement of release and component deployments to environments.
    • Develops and directs the maintenance of the Configuration and/or Environment Management plans and processes.
    • Leads the work of others (mentors, prioritizes, delegates and reviews assignments).
    • May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
    Field of Study: Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline
    Experience: 5 or more years of related experience; exhibits leadership qualities.
